Thursday was day when drew lord got us working on sculpting 101 using green stuff.
I did enjoy doing the sculpting though I have alot of work to do when it comes to sculpting my character.
I nearly did a complete bed roll, just need to add on another strap and 2 buckles.
I did complete the backpack, Put on the flap and the straps and buckle along with the holes to make it look a but more real though the holes I made were done with a cocktail stick so the holes were too big. Put anything in that backpack and it would fall out but oh well, at least I managed to finish it.
As for the head... well.... there's a laugh and a half.
As my number of attempts got higher, the faces I could do at the start were OK but as it came to putting in more detail it would completely mess up and I would end up restarting the whole head again. In the end i restarted it about 5 times.
All in all I did enjoy and I am excited about the challenge of making my character out of green stuff. It will be difficult but if I manage to finish it in time to the level of detail I am hoping to get it to then it will be worth it.
